1922

The company W.Laframboise was founded in 1922.The fabrication of linen and hospital garments holds no secrets for the Laframboise brothers.We have to say that the company benefits from many decades of existence.The credit for W.laframboise ltd.goes to the grandfather M.Wilfrid Laframboise.He made,at his home,handkerchiefs and cotton sheets that he sold to Simpson’s and Eaton’s department stores.

1946

In 1946 he handed the company down to his three sons,Pierre,Paul and Jean.It was in 1967 that M.Jean Laframboise became the sole owner of the company.By making linens and garments for distributeurs ,he,through the years,oriented his production toward the hospital domain.At the time Health Services were in full expansion.

1972

In 1972 M.Jacques Laframboise joined the company.There were 12 employees at the time.Rapidly he became responsible for the sales of the company.His two brothers Richard and Serge then joined the team.

1984

In 1984 the father decided to leave the operation and leave his three sons in charge,but not without keeping an eye on them from time to time.Now the three brothers were the owners of the company.

1990

Since 1990,after a few years of constant effort,W.Laframboise turned to exportation to counter the effects of slowing down of the requests from Quebec hospitals.Strong,from many years of experience in their domain,W.Laframboise humbly says that the force of a qualified team and an enthusiastic personnel,allowed them to dedicate their time to exportation and new technology.

1999

In 1999,Sylvain Laframboise,Richard’s son,brought a breath of fresh air to the company.It is with a lot of dynamism that he proudly represents the company.

2001

Then in 2001,after many years of loyal service,M.Jacques Laframboise retired.Following this Richard took his place as president and Serge as vice president.

Then the two brothers opened new offices and warehouse(with an area of 44,000 square feet),in Montreal North,so that they could keep on growing and to position themselves for the future.
